The Alaska Dream Charters sails out of Seward, Alaska, which is an easy place to reach by car. It is just a 2.5-hour drive from Anchorage and an easy trip if you want to enjoy a day of fishing for Barn Door Halibut and big King Salmon.
Fishing with Alaska Dream Charters
You can choose from Halibut Fishing, Salmon Fishing, or Combo Fishing Packages that give you the best of both worlds.
Seward is an amazing location, It butts up against the Fjords and sits at the head of Resurrection Bay - a natural Halibut and Salmon fishery.
These waters offer anglers a lot of options for targeting big fish such as Pacific Halibut and King Salmon. They are also full of some surprising fish species such as 3-5 foot long Ling Cod, big fat Snapper and Cod, and all five species of Pacific salmon. This is the place to venture if you want to fish all day for Salmon.
It is also not uncommon to see some amazing things while saltwater fishing here. Bears often roam the shores looking for Salmon. There are Orca and whales all over the place. You might even have to compete with Bald Eagles and Osprey for fish, but then there are so many fish here that it's really no competition at all.
Overall, it is hard to beat Seward for charter fishing adventures, and the Alaska Dream Charters offers a great fleet of boats, friendly staff, and access to many of the best fishing areas that Alaska has to offer.
