Lower Base Camp Along the Kanektok Mouth and Upriver 18 miles

Expect to find the big, bright and chrome Salmon as this is home to King Salmon, Silvers, Sockeyes, Pinks and Chum Salmon. Where the salmon run thick to spawn, you will also find Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char and Grayling. The Grayling are a high sail fin fish weigh under three pounds, but are smart and offer a challenge to fishermen. The char are fun, trout-like fish that are quite beautiful and sporty. Many come just for the rainbow. The guides know the local waters and rivers well and take you to where the fishing is good. Expect top quality Alaska fly fishing guides with plenty of personal service beyond your expectations.

Upper Base Camp along the 30 miles upriver on the Kanektok River

This is the place to find large Alaska Rainbow Trout and the river holds all 5 species of Salmon with Arctic Char and Grayling. Take in the game of fishing for monster trout, King and Silver Salmon. Try a variety of fly patterns such as the Dry Fly "mousing" action to entice the big ones to strike. As with the lower base camp, expect top quality Alaska fly fishing guides and amazing personal service beyond your expectations.
