The focus of Alaska Fly Fishing Tours is always on the fishers who book with them. They go out of their way to make your Alaska Fishing Adventure everything you imagine it can be. They provide access to guided river fishing, drift boat fishing, fly-in fishing, hike-in fishing throughout the Kenai Peninsula, Kachemak State Park, and Katmai National Park.

They fish out of Anchor Point, Alaska, which is just 20-minutes from Homer. It is easy to get here by car, and the drive from Anchorage is about 4-hours. You can also fly into Homer from Anchorage and rent a car or arrange for a taxi or guide pickup. So getting here and fishing is easy.

Fishing with Alaska Fly Fishing Tours

The fantastic thing here is that they offer many adventures. You can drift the Kenai River, hike into some of the most remote places on the Kenai Peninsula just off the beaten path, fly into remote Southwestern Alaska to fish some of the best waters there and even more. They offer the style of fishing - drift, wade-and-walk, fly-out - with access to the best rivers and creeks on the Kenai Peninsula and in world-class places where few people get to fish. Most guide services have a few places where you can fish, and it is up to you to pick the best time to come. With so many options, you have more “times” show and target the fish you want. That combination is Golden.

Expect professional and seasoned guides who are incredibly knowledgeable about the waters and the fish and deeply experienced in helping to make your Alaskan Fishing Adventure a trip of a lifetime. They are perfect for the advanced fish or for those who have never fished before. Alaska Fly Fishing Tours offers just about any type of freshwater fishing adventure you can think of reach out to them to find out more.

The Fish

The Kenai Peninsula is world-famous for its fishing. With such a vast area to fish, guests of the service have access to all five species of King Salmon, Trophy-sized Rainbow Trout, Large Dolly Varden Char, and Wild Steelhead. Anchor Point is home to the Anchor River, and while many folks come for the King and Silver Salmon fishing, it is almost better known for the wild steelhead in spring and fall. The Anchor River is fishable all year long.

Being able to access so many places is golden in Alaska. That is true because the run time is different for every river. If you want to target a specific species of fish, such as King Salmon, Alaska Fly Fishing Tours will be more likely to help you achieve that goal.
