Located in the middle of the best rainbow trout fishing on the planet
June is an exciting time for visual fishing, as hungry trout chase salmon fry in the spring thaw-out. Try your hand at the spectacular streamer fishing on the larger river, or go sight fishing with dry flies. Spawning salmon make August an excellent time for snagging trout by sight in many of the shallow runs. It's also a great time for wildlife viewing, as eagles and bears feast on salmon. While September is cooler, it offers fatter fish who've been feasting in anticipation for winter. This is the best time to net a truly huge, trophy trout. You can also pursue all five species of Pacific salmon available throughout the season.
