The Aurora Charters sails out of legendary Seward, Alaska and have been providing quality fishing adventures since 1991. Seward is an easy drive from Anchorage, but it does not have a large airport. It is much better to drive here than fly.

Seward is a world-class fishing destination on the fabled Kenai Peninsula. It is often overshadowed by Homer, but don't be fooled by the hype. Seward has big Trophy Halibut, Trophy King Salmon, and Wild Silver Salmon that rival those fish found around Homer.

Fishing with Aurora Charters

Aurora Charters is a four boat fleet, and each boat is captained by a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain. The boats range in size from 30-50 feet and offer modern accommodations that are comfortable and modern equipment. A full day of fishing can last 10 or more hours and its a lot of work reeling in big Salmon and big Barn Door Halibut. It is important that the boat supports the fishermen and the boats of the Aurora Charters fleet do just that.

The Fish: Seward has a little secret - This is one of the best places in all the world to fish for Silver Salmon. Many people focus on the big Halibut and the King Salmon, but wild, Silver Salmon are remarkable because they are smart and they fight back. Expect Silvers that tail walk across the water; that leap out of the ocean and do full acrobatics. They are pure joy to fish. Oh... and there are plenty of big Halibut and King Salmon here too.

You should expect a professionally guided fishing charter with helpful and knowledge crews and plenty of opportunities to fish for big fish and wild Salmon.
