Fishing with Bella Misty Fishing Charters
Your captain and host is Captain Clayton Moore - US Coast Guard Licensed and registered with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Captain Moore offers years of experience both as a fisherman and as a charter. He has the knowledge of the local waters to put you on big fish and the willingness to make your charter the trip of a lifetime.
Guests fish from the beautiful 33 foot West Cape Yacht that was custom built to provide a comfortable and safe and modern fishing experience. There is room on deck for six anglers and the cabin is a perfect place to rest and relax after hauling in big Trophy Fish. The West Cape is fully equipped with quality gear that is meticulously maintained so that every fish is a battle you can win.
The Fish - The local waters help Ketchikan live up to its title of being "The Salmon Capital of the World." Here you have access to King Salmon usually through June and sometimes into July. You have access to Chum Salmon which can weigh 35 pounds. These are plentiful from Mid June through July and sometimes into August. The highly prized Silver Salmon are here from late July through September and offer a world-class fight usually with acrobatics and aerials.
