What you gain by choosing the Brightwater Alaska group is access to the real Alaska - you not only get great fishing, but close up experience with the wilderness, wildlife, and gain an experience that few others will ever know- Your Float trip is owner led.

The Rivers and the Fish

The fish - expect big runs of Salmon. In the early season - June - you fish for big Rainbows and Arctic Grayling. Near the end of June, the fist of the Kings show up. Early July the waters are thick with Kings. By mid-July the Chum and Sockeye Salmon have entered the river. These are chrome bright, fresh salmon and full of energy - meaning big powerful battles between fish and fisherman. By Late July and into August the Salmon are spawning and the focus become about the trophy sized Rainbow and Char. Mixed into the fray are the Dolly Varden, similar to Rainbows in size and fight.
