Cranberry Creek Lodge

The main lodge is 1,400 square feet and can easily accommodate 6 guests with its 3 bedrooms and a large loft. Guests can sit & relax next to the warm glow of the fireplace while reliving the day's incredible adventures. There is a spacious kitchen & central living room area and hearty meals are prepared in the open kitchen & enjoyed family style. With the long daylight hours in the summer guests have plenty of time to relaxing by the ocean side fire pit or enjoy a walk on the beach while taking in the breathtaking views.

Kodiak Island offers a truly incredible saltwater fishing experience...guests primarily target salmon, giant pacific halibut, lingcod, and several species of rockfish. Thanks to this fantastic location in the heart of the fishing grounds don’t expect to have to travel very far to get to the fishing grounds while staying with Cranberry Creek Lodge. Some of their most productive fishing spots are within 30 minutes of the lodge. While fishing for Halibut, Rockfish & Lingcod epect to be jigging in 80-200 feet of water. The average halibut is 20-30lbs but it's not uncommon to hook into halibut approaching or exceeded 100lbs! The primary targets while fishing for salmon here are King Salmon & Silver Salmon which are both plentiful. The best times for King Salmon fishing here is late May through early July while Silver Salmon peak mid July through August. They each offer something great from the sheer power of a huge King Salmon to the incredible acrobatics & fight of a Silver Salmon. Cranberry Creek Lodge provides all the top-of-the-line equipment, tackle & bait...and at the end of each day your catch will be carefully processed, packaged, and frozen for you.
