The fish: Expect to target King Salmon and big Rainbow trout in the early part of the Season. You will also have access to millions of Sockeye Salmon and Dolly Varden Char. In the late summer, the Silver Salmon are plentiful, and by fall a run of wild Steelhead is on target.
These local rivers will blow your mind if you are a trout fishermen. The trout here are big - Rainbow in the 20-33-inch range. Dolly Varden are char that are very similar to Rainbow Trout, and they are plentiful and big too. If you have never targeted Silver Salmon, then this is the place to do so. If you think that Rainbow Trout are aggressive, a Silver Salmon will blow your mind.
