Dove Island Lodge

The lodge is 10,000 square feet of luxury space. It sits on a private island and offers five two-room suites all with private bathrooms. The rooms are well appointed and the lodge offers spa-like amenities such as ocean front balconies some with hot tubs. Rooms have satellite TV, coffee makers, private balconies, and some rooms with fireplaces. Expect world-class comfort.  Guests can choose between suits in the main lodge or private cottages. 

Dining is family style and meals are chef prepared. One feature of the lodge is their extensive wine cellar. Expect outstanding meals, plenty of comfort and the opportunity to truly enjoy fishing and lodging. 

Guests have access to world-class fishing. That may be saltwater Salmon and Halibut Fishing or flyout fishing to some of the most amazing remote locations in Alaska. Sitka is an area that is supported by many wonderful fisheries. Those include deep shelf fishing for Trophy Halibut or the Shallows for King Salmon, Silver Salon. Pair these fishing adventures with the fact that you have quality guides and top line equipment. 

Flyout fishing Begins with experienced pilots and guides. You have access to Trout, Dolly Varden, and all five species of Pacific Salmon. You can opt to target one species of fish, such as Rainbow Trout, or hit the lakes to target Big, Fat, Lunkers. 

Expect experienced pilots and guides that will put you on the big Trophy Fish. The local area is fish-rich. You have Big Halibut - in the hundreds of pounds range, and Chrome Silver Pacific Salmon. Also,  for saltwater excursions is the opportunity to target big Ling Cod and Rockfish. When you switch to Freshwater, you have the opportunity to fish local streams or flyout to remote lakes and rivers.
