The Fish With Hill Charter Fishing is based out of Seward, Alaska and offers guests outstanding Salmon and Halibut adventures. You fish with the owner, Captain Hill, and he always tries to make sure that you have the best adventure possible.
Lodging with Fish With Hill
Fish With Hill offers guests a Bed & Breakfast that sits just outside of Seward. The lodge holds up to 12 people and is divided into four private rooms with a private bath. Expect a private entry that opens to the outside. The common area offers flat-screen TV with cable and there is free Wi-Fi too. Guests enjoy a hot breakfast and box lunch. Dinner is a mix of Lodge fare such as King Crab, but dinner is not served every night. On the nights when the lodge does not provide dinner, guests have access to the BBQ's or they may venture into Seward and enjoy some of the fine dining found there.
Fishing with Captain Hill
Guests fish from the 2-Day which is a 46' Chesapeake Fishing boat. The boat holds up to 14 anglers and holds USCG certification. They use Garmin Radar and GPS to help put you on top of the fish. The Charter begins around 6:30 am. There is heat, a bathroom, sink, stove, and room for 14. Expect outstanding quality for equipment with big names like Shimano Reels. All of the equipment is well-maintained and in top shape. The goal is always that each guests have the best fishing adventure possible.
King Salmon: The best times are from May through August
Sockeye Salmon: June and July are the best months with late may showing an okay number of fish.
Coho Salmon: July and August are the best months to fish for Silver Salmon. They are available June through October.
Pink Salmon: July and August are the best months for Pink Salmon fishing.
Dolly Varden are best fished during July and August though they are available from May through September.
Steelhead: are prime for August, Sepetmber, and October.
Halibut: The Halibut are available January through October but the best months to battle Halibut are May-October.
Rockfish: Rockfish, like Halibut are available all year long. The best months for rockfish are May-August where you have access to the big Ling cod.
Once you return to the dock the lodge takes care of cleaning, packaging, and freezing your catch so it is ready to take home with you.
