Gone Fishin Lodge is located on the shores of the world-famous Kenai River and not only do they offer outstanding Salmon fishing, but also hugely successful saltwater fishing trip too. Guests are housed in the Gone Fishin Lodge, which has space for 40 guests in units that range from 2-6 people. Each room has a modern kitchenette, and because you are located in Soldotna, you are close to stores and restaurants too. You can drive in from Anchorage (three hours) or fly into the local airport in Soldotna from Anchorage via Alaska Airlines.

Fishing with the Gone Fishin Lodge

The season here runs from May through September with plenty of opportunity for fly-out fishing for King Salmon ( June and July) Silver Salmon (August and September) and Sockeye Salmon (June through August.) If you love to fish for rainbow trout Mid-June through the end of August is the prime time to temp these big fish into striking. For Saltwater fishing, the Halibut are around from May through September with a tremendous opportunity to land the big Halibut during this time. Ling Cod season opens July 1 with August through September being the best months to fish these giant predatory.

There is a lot of fishing opportunity. This is a fully guided lodge, and that is perfect for the Cooper Landing and Kenai area.
