- We came for the snowmobiling. We would come back just for the food! Ting is an amazing Chef, and encorperated many of what could be considered a bucket list of Alaskan foods. Everything we had was notable, but the moose fried rice was a real game changer. We have been riding snowmobiles on groomed trails for many years. We came to safely push our comfort zone in the Alaskan back country with two days of their advanced backcountry tour. Our guide Jais was excellent. He let us build our skills and push ourselves while providing insightful instruction. He knew his sport very well and was more than capable of fixing my increasingly creative mistakes. The rooms are well appointed. Their machines are current model year. We were pleasantly surprised throughout our stay. Hatcher's Pass ATV Tours delivered!

- Loved our stay at Hatcher Pass Castle! We enjoyed an unforgettable lineup of adventures ? a UTV tour through the mountains, flightseeing, dog sledding, and even an incredible Northern Lights show ??? This package truly checked every box for our Alaskan adventure. Despite the frigid winter temperatures outside, our room stayed perfectly warm and cozy all night ??? Highly recommend the all-inclusive package for anyone wanting the true Alaska experience! ??

- Wow!! This is an awesome experience. Ting and Dan are amazing hosts. They are very knowledgeable, incredibly kind and hospitalible. The food is very local and fresh, you won't go hungry (the stuffed French toast is the bomb) Their staff is also very knowledgeable, informative and patient. The accommodation are updated and cozy. This is truly an Alaskan outback experience, not a cookie cutter tourist stop. We look forward to coming back!

- We stayed at Hatcher Pass Castle in February 2026 and absolutely loved it! The owners and all staff/guides were wonderful, our room was cozy and clean, the food was delicious, and the excursions were top notch. Their attention to detail was very impressive from the time we made our reservation to the time we checked out. We hope to go back during the summertime to experience it in a different season. Would definitely recommend a visit/stay!

- I was struck with a desire to visit Alaska to start the new year and called Hatcher Pass Castle on New Year's Eve to set up a last minute trip. Ting took my call and was able to set me up with an experience with barely 48 hours notice. I spent two days at the castle and during that time we hiked a glacier, rode snowmobiles across frozen rivers, cooked marshmallows under the aurora, and chased the hour-long sunset from peak to peak. Incredibly, all of these excursions were included with the price! Not only that, they provided extra gear to keep me warm (I am from California so I'll admit the cold made me nervous). The owners, Dan and Ting, are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met, and when we sat down to enjoy Ting's home cooking (meals were included as well) we enjoyed meaningful and deep conversations. From the moment they picked me up to the moment they dropped me off at the airport (transportation was included as well), I felt absolutely at ease. I recommend Hatcher Pass Castle to anyone looking to get away, to experience a rugged adventure, or to simply relax and be taken care of by experienced and caring hosts in a picturesque and peaceful environment. Would give 6 or more stars if I could!!
