I Fish Haines Alaska is a charter service that offers private sports fishing adventures in the waters around Haines Alaska. They also offer vacation packages, sightseeing trips and serve as a water taxi for those who need to travel the Alaska Marine Highway. Guests fish on the Peggy Sue, which is a 42-foot Uniflite Sport Fishing Cruiser with a four-foot fishing platform, enjoy quality fishing for big Halibut. The Peggy Sue is well-equipped with room for six fishers, a full galley, and a full bathroom. All of the safety equipment is provided, as is quality fishing rods, tackle, and extras. You will need to bring your own Alaska fishing license and the rest they provide for you; even lunch is included. The primary fishing targets are Halibut and Salmon as well as the many Rockfish, Snapper, and Lingcod found here.
Note: You can buy an Alaska fishing license online at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and you should do so about 60 days before leaving for Alaska. It is possible to find a fishing license locally, but that can be a hassle.
