Isuma Guideworks brings you face-to-face with the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the beautiful Brooks Range. Here, you have access to big fish, and something that will totally amaze you - the Sheefish - or the Tarpon of the North as the locals call them. Among the Salmon, the Silver Salmon are known for their fight. The Sheefish, make the Silver Salmon look docile. Why? because they grow to 50-60 pounds. A big trophy Silver is about 20 pounds. Isuma Guideworks - the adventure begins.
The Rivers and the Fish

A Highlight is the Kobuk River which is where you find the amazing Sheefish. Along the way expect to battle various types of Trout, such as Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Arctic Grayling in addition to the Salmon. Everyone should try their hand at the Sheefish though.
