There is an option to customize your fishing trip, but you will need to do that before you book your trip. Each guest can opt for a free 50 fish packing service. You can either take your fish home as checked luggage or you can fly it home via Fed Ex. There is also a local taxidermy specialist in town if you'd prefer to have your fish mounted.

The Guides at Jimmy Jack's

Outstanding expert fishermen. Big Jim is Jimmie Jack's dad and rumor has it that the fish follow him up and down the river. He is full of secret fishing trick and unique fishing plugs that make him a fish Whisperer. The rest of the guides are good, but Big Jim is a legend. The lodge represents decade upon decade of Kenai River experience.

The benefits of Jimmy Jack's Lodge is the comfortable and the high caliber equipment. The guides are world-class, and their services show it. Guests find a lot of value at Jimmy Jack's Lodge. It is a perfect blend of hospitality and freedom to enjoy your own vacation.

Fishing for the World Records

The Cook Inlet area is home to some massive fish. The Pacific Halibut are huge. A 200 pound Halibut is as tall as a man and wider. The Alaska record weighed in at 495 pounds. The Kenai River is also an awesome place to salmon fish. The Kings and Silvers are plentiful as are large Rainbows. Guests must supply their own fishing license, and that includes a King Salmon stamp. It is best to have those in hand before you leave for your trip.
