Juneau Adventures offers a variety of fishing packages that range from 2 1/2 hour trips to 8-hour adventures. They work with you to fit as much fishing into your day as possible. Shorter trips are designed for cruise ship passengers on a short shore leave, and longer trips for those who have more time to spend battling big, Chrome Bright Kings, Silvers, Chum and big Halibut. 

Welcome to the Inside Passage This long stretch of the pacific is shielded by the outer island and create a natural fishery for Salmon and Halibut. Smaller fish need the quiet waters to feed on the plankton and zooplankton. They bring in the bait fish - schools of smelt and herring. The bait fish attract the Salmon who feed on them to fatten up before their spawning runs. This cycle is why fishing the Inside Passage offers so much action and the waters around Juneau are ideal for catching big Salmon and Halibut. In addition to Salmon and Halibut you have access to some very remarkable rock fishing. - These species include Yelloweye, Lingcod, snapper, and even bass. Board? Try flyfishing for black bass on your trip. 

Captain Terry has been fishing these waters since he could walk. He has over 30-years of charter fishing experience and knows these waters well. Expect a professional charter, good crew and top equipment. Captain Terry is a native of Juneau and truly understand how to fish here. The salmon run in cycles and lay up in deep troughs. His expertise allows him to put you over the fish so your odds of bringing in the bigger Salmon are better. 

Juneau Adventures works well with cruise ship passengers as well as those staying longer. Juneau Adventures does a wonderful job of making your fishing adventure positive and one you will remember for a very long time. They make fishing easier with electric downriggers. They open in May and close in the late summer. May and June is the best time for King Salmon Fishing, August is the best time to target Silver Salmon, and the Halibut are available year-round.
