Kasilof River Cabins offers river-side accommodations paired with world-class fishing options in a remote location and a beautifully built and appointed cabin. Getting here is relatively easy as the cabins are just off the Sterling Highway in Kasilof. You can drive from Anchorage in about three hours. You can also fly from Anchorage to Kenai or Homer and rent a car from there.

The remote beauty of the river, access to everything the Kenai Peninsula offers, and lodging in beautifully constructed and appointed cabins is just the beginning.

The Fishing

There are many fishing options available from some of the best freshwater Salmon and Trout fishing in the world, to the remarkable saltwater fishing options that target trophy Halibut. Kasilof is just minutes from Cook Inlet and a short drive to fabled rivers such as the Kenai River, Russian River, and others. You are also steps from the Kasilof River with its big runs of Salmon, Trout, and Steelhead.

The Package includes guided fishing for Salmon, Trout, Halibut, and more, including a fly-out adventure to one of the remote lakes in the area. You can fish for as long as you want right out the front door of your cabin. However, there are some world-class blue-ribbon rivers here, such as the Russian and Kenai River. Guided fishing for King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, big 30” Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Varden are right at your fingertips. Also, the fantastic Halibut, Rockfish, and Salmon fishing in Cook Inlet are all available to you too.

Lodging with Kasilof River Cabins

There are three cabins here - The Moose, Sockeye, and Grizzley - which are more accurately small lodges.

The Moose Lodge is a beautiful 1,100 square foot, two-story unit with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large full kitchen. You can provision your kitchen in Sterling as you drive in from Anchorage or stop at one of the grocery stores in Soldotna.

The Sockeye Lodge features two bedrooms, a single bathroom, and a full kitchen.

The Grizzly Lodge is an 800 square foot unit with two bedrooms, a single bathroom, and a full kitchen.

There is an onsite caretaker who will help you make reservations, clean, packaging, and mailing your fish and help you discover all of the options available to you. Expect comfortable cabins that are beautifully designed, cozy, and secure.
