Kodiak Island Resort sits along the shoreline of Larsen Bay on Kodiak Island. The lodge offers complete luxury for guests to enjoy while not fishing. Sat amid some of Alaska's most pristine wilderness guest's of the lodge really do have the best of everything - excellent fishing, beautiful views, and incredible saltwater and freshwater fishing.
Fishing with Kodiak Island Resort
The Lodge is open from May all the way through October. During those prime months, guests have many options for fishing. Expect to experience fishing for barn door Halibut. Expect to enjoy world-class Salmon fishing for King Salmon and Silver Salmon. All five species of Pacific Salmon are available. In addition, these calm and protected waters are home to big Ling Cod and Bottom Fish. It is a rare day when guests of Kodiak Island Resort do not catch their daily limit for Halibut, Salmon, or Bottom Fish.
If you are thinking it does not get much better than this, then buckle your seatbelt. Guests also have the option of fly-in fishing to some of the most amazing spots. This is an excellent location for fly fishing for Steelhead and Rainbow Trout too.
Lodging with the Kodiak Island Resort
The Food here is just as good as the fishing. Guests enjoy the executive lounge where there are plenty of hor d'oeuvres and drinks. Expect five-star meals and a menu that is richly diverse.
Lodging is via one of their six double occupancy rooms with two double beds. Each room has a private bathroom and spectacular views. Expect comfortable rooms plenty of style and luxury.
In your downtime, there are a million things to do and see. Guests enjoy beach combing, whale watching, and just relaxing.
