Fishing Juneau, Alaska
Juneau, the state's capital city, is also an entry point for many people who want to fish in Alaska. This is an amazing area for Salmon, Halibut, and Rockfish and Lost in Alaska Adventures is the perfect "gateway" to do just that.
Welcome to the Inside Passage which is a natural fishery for small fish and bait fish and home to many species of Salmon that come to feed, fatten, and rest before their big upstream spawning run. The waters here are calmer, so you can enjoy an afternoon of fishing without the giant swells you find in other parts of Alaska. It is also a place to gain access to many species of Salmon, big Halibut, and Bottom Fish.
You can target King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Chum Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and Ling Cod. In addition to fishing in prolific waters, you gain access to view many species of Alaskan Marine Wildlife including whales, sea lions, and puffins. It is not uncommon to have whales surface near the boat and if you are lucky, the Orca will come to see what you've caught.
