Mike's Hooked for Life offers freshwater and salt water fully guided fishing for the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers and for Cook Inlet. THey offer half and full day charters and a full day typically runs 8-10 hours. Mike's Hooked for Life is located near Soldotna and just off the Sterling Highway. It is an easy place to find, and you can fly into one of the local airports and rent a car or make the easy drive down from Anchorage. Plan on about 3 hours of driving. Check in with Mike about the possibility of a local airport pickup service. Some guides offer this and others don't. Some will even pick you up in Anchorage.

Fishing with Mike's Hooked for Life

This is a fully guided fishing service which means that they supply all of the equipment. You do need to bring your own fishing license and special stamps as needed.

The Kenai River: This is a dynamic river with a ton of Salmon and big Rainbow Trout. Expect access to all five species of Pacific Salmon. While many people focus on fishing for Kings, Silvers are just as fun, and they fight better. The rainbow trout here and in the Kasilof River are big and can span to 33-inches.

The Kasilof River is as amazing as the Kenai and offers pretty much the same fish. You can totally bag a world record here.

Cook Inlet: This is a long and narrow inlet with calm waters, and it is full of millions of Salmon and big Halibut. All the salmon that spawn in the Kasilof and Kenai must swim up Cook Outlet to get to the mouths of these rivers.

Expect quality guiding, good gear, and big fish.
