Winter Ice Fishing starts in mid-November and runs through mid-April of the following year.

In many lakes around the country, ice fishing means Trout, up here in Alaska, you have the option of fishing for Winter King Salmon, Arctic Grayling, big Rainbow Trout, and big Arctic Char.

Ice fishing is an amazing adventure even when the weather is -20 below. The deal here is a movable fishing cabin that is heated by both electricity and wood stove. You are given the creature comforts while still fishing for big fish. The cabin has room for 12-guests. You can opt for a four or six hour fishing day.

This is one of the few places that offers guided fishing for big Northern Pike. The summer is a prime time for Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, Grayling & Salmon fishing and as soon as the ice is thick enough, you can fish for Winter King Salmon.
