Rod's Alaskan Guide Service provides quality guided fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling services out of Fairbanks, Alaska. Guest of the charter are able to book their trip to fish in local streams or opt for a fly-out fishing adventure to one of the many beautiful and remote fishing lakes around Fairbanks. You have the option of targeting Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, and Northern Pike.

Remote Fishing with Rod's Alaskan Guide Service

Your fishing adventure with Rod's Alaskan Guide Service will land you in a remote location - river, lake, or creek - where the fishing is good and the fishing pressure is minimal. These are remote places where other fishers rarely venture. What that means is that you have access to wild and unspoiled fish. Summer trips are guided from June through August. Winter Ice Fishing starts in mid-November and runs through mid-April of the following year.

In many lakes around the country, ice fishing means Trout, up here in Alaska, you have the option of fishing for Winter King Salmon, Arctic Grayling, big Rainbow Trout, and big Arctic Char.

Ice fishing is an amazing adventure even when the weather is -20 below. The deal here is a movable fishing cabin that is heated by both electricity and wood stove. You are given the creature comforts while still fishing for big fish. The cabin has room for 12-guests. You can opt for a four or six hour fishing day.

This is one of the few places that offers guided fishing for big Northern Pike. The summer is a prime time for Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, Grayling & Salmon fishing and as soon as the ice is thick enough, you can fish for Winter King Salmon.
