Overall, Talon Lodge is an excellent spot for fishermen, families, and groups. Expect clean accommodations with plenty of creature comforts.

The Joy of Saltwater Fishing with Talon Lodge

The local saltwater holds more than just Halibut and King Salmon. There are several species of Cod, Snapper, and Rockfish in the waters. A local predator -- the Lingcod -- is an outstanding sports fishing target. The long, lean predator is a fighter and will even bite wet flies if you wish to try your hand at saltwater fly fishing. There are also a number of Salmon species that are equally fun to catch here.

Talon's experienced captains target Salmon, Halibut, and Rockfish each day. The waters that surround benefit from being Alaska's best Salmon fishing grounds and supply Halibut and Rockfish within minutes of the Salmon fishing areas. This is very unique and a great advantage.

Alaska Adventures That Provide Memories

UTV Safari and Fishing on Kruzof Island is a one-of-a-kind adventure that provides a wilderness experience with wildlife viewing and beachcombing on a spectacular black-sand beach.

Kayaking around the majestic islands and bays that surround Sitka places you within Alaska and is a great way to slow down and take in all of the surrounding beauty.

Touring Sitka is a must. Sitka is Alaska's history mecca. Shops, Museums, Raptor Center, Fortress of the Bear, and the Totem National Park are all fan favorites.
