Fishing with Worman Sportfishing
Where you have large numbers of both baitfish and Salmon you find plenty of Halibut. This is one of the reason why Ketchikan, Alaska is so recognizable to fishers from around the world.
Worman Sportfishing gives you access to King, Silver, Pink, and Chum Salmon all in a saltwater venue and from professional and clean boats. The best time to fish for King Salmon is in June. The runs often start in the last week of May and may extend as far as the first two weeks in July. For Silver Salmon, the best time to fish is mid-August and September. Chum Salmon, which can be nearly as large as Kings and almost as feisty as Silvers are most prevalent from mid-July through August.
The Halibut are plentiful all year long and you have plenty of opportunities to fish for both big Barn Door Halibut, and the smaller Chickens ( 100 pounds or less) halibut.
Overall, expect a professional crew, seasoned captain, and plenty of fishing action.
